The interior of the Polestar 3 features a variety of innovative and sustainable materials, which are carefully selected to create a luxurious look and feel while minimizing environmental impact. The upholstery options include perforated Nappa leather, which is chrome-free and sourced from farms with high animal welfare standards, as well as bio-attributed MicroTech, a vegan alternative made from renewable vinyl and recycled polyester. Additionally, animal welfare-certified wool is available, offering a comfortable and breathable option.
The interior deco elements are also designed with sustainability in mind, featuring Black Ash wood with a unique finish that reduces material waste, and repurposed aluminum panels made from 80% post-industrial waste. Furthermore, the Tectonic deco is crafted using 75% recycled plastic, adding to the car’s eco-friendly credentials. Other sustainable materials used in the Polestar 3 include carpets made from recycled fishing nets and an interior headlining produced from 100% recycled PET.
The use of natural fiber composites, such as those made from European-grown flax, further contributes to reducing weight and virgin plastic usage in the vehicle’s design. Overall, the Polestar 3’s interior is a blend of luxury, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
