The warranty period for the Polestar 3 includes several components that provide comprehensive coverage. The vehicle warranty covers manufacturing defects for the first four years after delivery, or up to 50,000 miles, whichever comes first, and it remains valid even if the car changes ownership, provided that the service plan is followed.
Additionally, the battery warranty ensures that any faults in battery performance or defects in material and workmanship are resolved free of charge within eight years or 100,000 miles, and if the battery’s state of health drops below 70% of its original capacity within this period, it will be replaced at no cost.
Furthermore, there is a corrosion warranty that covers bodywork perforation due to corrosion for twelve years after delivery, which is also valid regardless of ownership changes.
In some regions, such as Australia, the Polestar 3 may offer a five-year unlimited kilometer warranty, which is a more extensive coverage compared to the standard warranty in other areas.
