To fully charge the Polestar 3, the time varies depending on the type of charger you use. For instance, if you’re using a standard 3-pin plug at home, it can take about 49 hours to go from empty to full, which is quite a long time.
If you have access to a 3.6 kW charger, which is common at home or work, it will take around 30 hours to fully charge the vehicle. Moving up to a 7 kW charger, which is also found at home, work, or public locations, reduces the charging time to about 16 hours.
For faster charging, a 22 kW charger can fill the battery in approximately 10 hours, although the car’s onboard charger limits the intake to 11 kW.
Lastly, if you’re using a rapid DC charger, which can charge at up to 250 kW, you can get from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes, but it won’t fully charge the car in this time.
